Glory along with true humour is a very unique package found in a very few people. Everyone has the ability to ridicule others. But only a few have the real heart to absorb bantering and mockery from others and without hurting them back, can laugh on themselves.
This series titled Clowning Glory is a dedication to some of those famous personalities in history who never shied away from the funny bone they had but in fact brought a change in people's lives through their wit and laughter. They are the true worthy archetypes for real inspiration. In this sense, being a clown isn't degrading but a sense of valour and evolution.
Every individual is a clown to someone in some way or another. But to allow the world to call you a clown and laugh along, makes you a true wonder. There isn't any other way to grow. Frankenstein and Mr.Spock although fictional characters, gave birth to countless humour and parodies and hence they deserves a special place in this collection.
As a part of the New Aesthetic Movement, this exhibit by artist Mandy Kulkarni brings forth a simple yet powerful quality of these great glorified personalities who accepted lighter sides of life as an essential part of their existence and left us with an awe of their persona.
